A manual pallet truck is an operator-powered unit with a hydraulic pump, used to lift and move pallets over short distances. It has no engine and no battery: you raise the pallet by pumping the handle, move it, and lower it with a lever.

How does it help in daily work?

It's the simplest way to unload a truck, move goods from the dock into the warehouse or restock shelves in a store. It needs no charging, works straight away and takes up little space, making it a handy backup next to an electric pallet truck.

How to choose a manual pallet truck

01Capacity

Start from your heaviest pallet and add 20–25% headroom. Retail and distribution need 2,000–2,500 kg (Handler Classic, Kraft); for metal, building materials or drinks, the new-generation Handler also comes in 3,000 and 5,000 kg.

02Forks and pallet

1,110–1,150 mm forks fit 1,200 × 800 mm EUR pallets, with a 550 mm outer width. For boards, doors, profiles or long crates, choose the Long Handler with 2,000 mm forks.

03Weighing at goods-in

If you check weights at goods-in or dispatch, a pallet truck with a scale (Handler, 12,900 MDL, or Kraft, 15,000 MDL) replaces a platform scale: the pallet is weighed as you lift it.

04Lifting higher

A standard pallet truck lifts the pallet only 190–200 mm, enough to move it. For a mobile work table choose the Handler high-lift (up to 800 mm), and for racking the HN manual stacker (1.6 / 2.5 / 3 m). For frequent or higher stacking, see the electric stackers.

Which wheels should I choose?

Handler Classic, Handler and Kraft come with rubber, nylon or polyurethane wheels. Rubber and polyurethane run quieter and protect the floor; nylon rolls easily on smooth, clean surfaces.

What is the Handler HN manual stacker?

A pedal-operated hydraulic stacker with no battery: it lifts pallets of up to 1,000 kg to 1,600, 2,500 or 3,000 mm, with fixed 1,150 mm forks. It's the natural step up from a manual pallet truck when the pallet needs to go onto a rack or platform.
