How to choose a hand trolley

01Trolley type

Platform trolleys (PH3001, PH3015AL, L3, L5) carry boxes and parcels indoors. Sack trucks (HT2106, HT4024A) handle sacks and stacked boxes in narrow aisles. The stair truck (HT2086H) is for steps and thresholds. The HNPT lift table raises goods to working height, and the LT1 and LT2 ladder trolleys lift you up to the shelf.

02Capacity

Sack and stair trucks carry 150–180 kg, platform trolleys 250–300 kg, and the L5 with wire basket 500 kg. The HNPT lift table comes in 300, 500 and 1,000 kg versions. Choose by the heaviest single load and leave some headroom.

03Material and wheels

PH3001, PH3015AL, HT2106, HT4024A and HT2086H are made of corrosion-resistant aluminium. L3 and L5 are zinc-plated steel with a powder coat, on 4" (L3) and 6" (L5) wheels. Compare the dimensions in the table with your door and aisle widths.

04Trolley or pallet truck

What load can a hand trolley carry?

What is the HNPT mobile lift table?

A trolley with an 815 × 500 mm platform that lifts hydraulically by foot pedal: to 900 mm (HNPT300, HNPT500), 1,300 mm (HNPTS300, HNPTS500) or 1,000 mm (HNPT1000, 1,000 kg). It brings goods up to work-table height, with no bending.

What are the LT1 and LT2 ladder trolleys for?

For working at high racks in warehouses and shops: they are mobile ladders on wheels with a top platform and guard rail. The LT2 has its platform at 1,500 mm with a 700 mm rail; the LT1 is 2,235 mm tall overall with wide steps.
