Drive-In Pallet Racking System

The Drive-In pallet racking system eliminates aisles between rack blocks, turning every square meter of a warehouse into active storage space. The forklift enters directly into the rack lane, storing pallets on side rails along the entire depth of the block — maximum density, without structural compromises.

Operating Principle

Unlike selective racking, the Drive-In system does not allocate an aisle per row of racks. The forklift enters the storage lane and advances along the internal aisle, placing each pallet on the side rails. Access can be from one end (Drive-In, LIFO logic) or from both ends (Drive-Through, FIFO logic). The result: up to 80–85% more storage space compared to selective racking with the same footprint.

When Drive-In is the Right Choice

• Homogeneous or slow-moving products — seasonal stocks, raw materials, finished products with the same SKU
• Refrigerated or freezer warehouses — cooled space is expensive; Drive-In maximizes every m³
• Small areas with high volume — when warehouse expansion is not an option
